Banff is the home to the Canadian Rockies. The sights are amazing. There are hundreds of trails to hike, mountains to climb, rivers to fish and recreation to be had. This little section of the planet is an outdoor lovers dream, and it was a highlight of the expedition for all of us. We spent about five days in Banff and Jasper, and even though I have already been there 4 times, I would go back again in a heartbeat. Enjoy!

New Photos – The Fraser River
We have the photos up from our trip on the Fraser River in British Colombia. The section of river that we rafted was just outside the Mount Dobson park, which is the highest mountain in British Colombia. It makes for the most incredibly picturesque setting to float down a river. What a great day.
Into The Great White Open
Salar de Uyuni is a name that many people might not immediately recognize, but photos of this massive salt pan are known throughout the world. Unfortunately, photos of this natural wonder do not really do the salar any justice as its immense scale is simply too large to really document let alone comprehend unless you visit Uyuni firsthand in person.
New Photos – Angola
It took nearly seven weeks to get our visas for Angola and when we finally had them issued in Matadi, DRC, they did not give us much time. In fact, they only gave us a five day transit visa, so we had to haul ass through more than 2,000 kilometers of bad roads. Angola is quite a unique place. You can tell from the destruction in many of the villages and towns, the extreme landmine danger and by the military equipment scattered throughout the countryside that the civil war had only recently ended. However, the people of Angola were some of the friendliest we had me in Africa to date. Angola is an intriguing country and it was a shame we had such little time to explore such a diverse and vast landscape.
